Look for the
Auckland Follow SH1 south to Ngaruawahia, turn right onto SH39 which is signposted to Otorohanga, once arriving in Otorohanga turn right continue south for approximately 10km then take a turn off to the right onto SH37 signposted Waitomo Caves, continue along this road for approximately 8km to arrive in the Waitomo village.
Rotorua Follow SH5 / SH30 south of Rotorua, turn right onto SH30 following signs to Te Kuiti, once arriving in Te Kuiti continue north following signs to Waitomo Caves for approximately 10km then take a turn off to the left onto SH37 signposted Waitomo Caves, continue along this road for approximately 8km to arrive in the Waitomo village.
Taupo - Follow SH5 north out of Taupo, take a turn off to the left onto SH1 signposted Te Kuiti, take a turn off to the left onto SH30 signposted Te Kuiti, once arriving in Te Kuiti continue north following signs to Waitomo Caves for approximately 10km then take a turn off to the left onto SH37 signposted Waitomo Caves, continue along this road for approximately 8km to arrive in the Waitomo village.
